Rubber Park

The foundation stone for Indias first rubber park, to be set by up jointly by the Kerala Industrial Infrastructure Development Corp and the Rubber Board at Irapuram in Ernakulam district, would be laid on Tuesday by Kerala Chief Minister E K Nayanar.

The park, being set up on a 100-acre site at a cost of Rs 40 crore, is expected to provide employment to at least 6000 persons, according to Kinfra managing director C G Gopala Pillai.
