Statoil Drill Ship

Den Norske Stats Oljeselskap AS (Statoil) said one of its multipurpose shuttle tankers (MST) under construction in South Korea was to be outfitted for use as a drill ship under the name MST Odin. The vessel will rank as the largest of its type in the world - with storage for up to 585,000 barrels of oil "" and will be able to drill in 2,500 metres of water, Statoil's Status Weekly newsletter said.
