Toyota Motor Corp, sharpening its aim at the leaders of the US full-size pickup truck market, on Wednesday gave the automotive world a peek at the design for its first US entry: a brawny, V-8-powered hauler with bulging fenders and a flared grille. Toyota's T-150 concept truck, unveiled at the Chicago Auto Show, even has a name similar to one of its key future competitors, Ford Motor Co.'s F-150 full-size pickup, the best-selling vehicle in North America. The T-150 will go into production in early 1999 at a $700 million plant now under construction in Princeton, Ind.
