The win sends NorthEast United to the top of the table with two wins and a draw from three matches while the reigning champions Chennaiyin FC slip to the bottom of the table with three losses

Half-time report: It's half-time at the Marina Arena and the scores are level. But it's been far from a drab match. Six goals have been scored in the first half with three by Ogbeche who took 10 minutes to score his hat-trick after his team first went 2-0 down then 3-1 down. 

 

There has been almost no time to breathe in this match with Chennai dictacting the proccedings for the first 30 minutes before Ogbeche turned it around for the visitors. Chennai took the lead as early as the third minute, courtsey an own-goal from NorthEast United defender Rowllin Borges. 12 minutes later, Thoi Singh made it 2-0. Ogbeche pulled one back for his team in the 29th minute but Thoi Singh scored his second two minutes later to restore the two-goal deficit.

 

Ogbeche then put on his scoring boot to score twice in three minutes to make in 3-3 in what has been a cracker of a match.

Minute 38 (GOAL!!) -- Ogbeche scores another at the Marina Arena!! Another ball over the top, this time by Gallego, finds Ogbeche who calmly rolls the ball beyond the onrushing goalkeeper and passes it into the empty net to make it 3-3. That's Ogbeche's hat-trick in 10 minutes! What a goal-fest this match has been!

Minute 36 (GOAL!!) -- Ogbeche scores his second of the day!! Rowllin Borges spots the run of the former PSG striker and puts in a great lob for him. Borges chests down the ball and puts it past Karanjit Singh to make it 3-2

Minute 31 (GOAL!!) -- Raphael Agusto goes on a fantastic run on the left wing, enters the box, does a couple of step-over and lays it across the box for Thoi Singh who scors his second of the day with a backheel!

Minute 29 (GOAL!!) -- Ogbeche scores!! And makes it 2-1. Gallego's inital shot is parried by the keeper but Ogbeche is fast enough to reach the rebound and poke it across the goal post to bring the deficit down to one goal

Minute 27 - NorthEast United have finally begun to push forward a bit and get into the Chennai box after going two goals down so early. The quality in final third is lacking though and the scoreline still reads 2-0 for Chennai

Minute 15 (GOAL!!) -- Thoi Singh scores!! Chennai have two goals within 14 minutes. Isaac Vanmalsawma receives the ball down the left flank from a lob and spots Singh rushing down the middle of the pitch and into the box. His cross is met just in time for Singh to poke his toe under NorthEast's goalkeeper Pawan Kumar who is a litle too late in coming out
