Accel Frontline eyes West Asia

| As part of its efforts to establish a stronghold in West Asia market, the company is scouting for business opportunities in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Kuwait among others. |
| "One of our applications called 'Prodigy' has taken off in a big way in the school management system in West Asia. We have already acquired five clients for the same in a very short time and foresee the market for such value-based applications to grow increasingly," N R Panicker, CMD told Business Standard. |
| The company entered into a JV with Singapore-based Frontline Technologies corp in 2004. |
| Frontline Technologies is working closely with the Singapore government on e-governance and security issues which Accel Frontline plans to emulate in its Indian operations in the near future. The company also plans to enter the US markets by acquiring a company in the US with a similar set-up. |
| Accel Frontline declared a turnover of Rs 170.4 crore in March 2006 as compared to Rs 136.8 crore last year. |
| This includes Rs 93.5 crore from sales of IT products as also income from services totalling Rs 75.9 crore. The company also declared a profit after tax of Rs 9.7 crore as opposed to Rs 4.2 crore the previous year. |
