Mumbai-based IT firm Aftek’s application to the Registrar of Companies (RoC) for an extension to hold its annual general meeting (AGM) has been denied. The company’s second quarter results have also been delayed.
The company said that its second quarter results were delayed as the financial data was corrupted and it would need time for conducting an audit of the accounts.
“We had wanted to push the AGM date as well and had approached the Company Law Board. But that was not granted, as we had already taken an extension last year due the merger that we went through. So, we will go ahead with the AGM, but the accounts and dividend will be announced later,” CEO Ranjit Dhuru said.
