The review sample had a 1.63-inch AMOLED display. The colours were vibrant and though the resolution was not extraordinary, it was not that bad either. It houses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with 512 MB of RAM, which seems to be the norm for almost all Android Wear smartwatches.
To use the watch, one needs to download Android Wear from the Google Play Store and then pair it with the smartphone over Bluetooth. Pairing and setting it up is quite easy and doesn't take much time.
The user interface is similar to other Android Wear smartwatches. One can download the ZenWatch Manager with which one can access exclusive watch faces and also experience seamless integration between the phone and the watch.
The ZenWatch 2 has the power button on the side unlike its predecessor. It comes with a magnetic connector which snaps into place. I was able to charge the watch up to 50 per cent in 25 minutes flat! However, the 400-mAh battery could have been improved. It couldn't last even half a day.
Like all other smartwatches, the ZenWatch 2 also has a plethora of apps that one can access, including pedometer, heart rate monitors, etc.
Priced at Rs 14,999 , the Zenwatch 2 doesn't offer anything special but the price tag is sure to attract many.
