Bristlecone to double headcount

| Speaking on the company's growth plans, V Mani, vice president, international delivery, said, "We have signed a substantial number of new contracts and expect our business to grow at 40% year-on-year. We expect our headcount to touch 1,400 globally by the end of next year". |
| Since the merger with Mahindra Consulting in 2004, the company's revenue has expanded two-fold. Presently, Bristlecone employs over 800 people worldwide of which over 700 are based in India. |
| Mumbai is the largest centre in India with over 350 employees. In Bangalore, the company has 340 people and in Pune it currently employees 50 people. |
| "Pune is one of the fastest growing markets for Bristlecone in India," Mani said. Further he added the automotive industry has been a strong focus for Bristlecone and considering the size of the auto industry in Pune, the company expects a significant part of revenue coming from the auto sector. |
| Bristlecone is part of the core development team of SAP and the centre in Pune will function both as a development centre for SAP based Bristlecone solutions for mid-market and as an extended supply chain management and business consulting centre. |
