Talking to Business Standard, Alok Bharadwaj, senior vice-president, Canon India, said, the company has lined up three new divisions, to its existing four divisions of business. "We have formed three new divisions such as government division, consumer products corporate division and graphic arts division to increase our presence in the B2B segment," he added.

Canon India has decided to create a dedicated sub-division to address government business. The division will look at e-governance opportunities and focus on large organisations. The firm's second new initiative, consumer products corporate division would focus on digital imaging by enabling connectivity between corporate organisations, technology and lifestyle.

This would be a dedicated effort at playing a major role in the corporate day-to-day affairs. Graphic arts division would extend huge opportunities in the variable data scene where customisation is possible in a big way, he added. Bharadwaj added that the graphic arts division is expected to contribute at least 10 per cent share in the company's total revenues.

Canon India would be earmarking as much as Rs 100 crore in its new line of businesses as well as the existing divisions, which include camera business, IT peripherals, office automation and imaging solutions business, he added.

Besides, the company has also lined up three B2B showrooms, named Canon India Business lounges in Gurgaon, Bangalore and Mumbai.
