The special court set up to try the Satyam scam accused today disallowed a petition by Satyam Computer Services Limited’s former chief financial officer, Srinivas Vadlamani, seeking treatment in a private eye hospital.
The judge directed the Chanchalguda jail authorities to produce him at Sarojini Devi Eye Hospital, a government hospital in Hyderabad, as an out-patient and also submit a report to the court on the treatment provided to him by May 21. He also told the jail authorities to ascertain if there was a need for assistance of a specialist.
Vadlamani filed the petition on May 7, seeking permission to see a doctor at a private clinic as the problem in his eyes persisted for some time.
