NYSE-listed technology company Hewlett-Packard (HP) is in talks with an insurance company, which has 500-odd branches across India, to offer its managed print services (MPS), said Sekhar Agarwal, director (managed enterprise solutions), India.
“We are focusing more on services-driven solutions like document and workforce management and customer communication management, and are currently in talks with an insurance company to implement the same,” he told mediapersons here on Wednesday. Agarwal, however, declined to draw any time line for closing the new client win.
HP, which has more than 3,000 customers worldwide, had so far signed over 100 contracts for the MPS segment in India. It currently offers its MPS, which involves data integration, design, print and package, taking ownership of multi-channel distribution and document archiving.
