Infosys Technologies has partnered with Punjab National Bank (PNB) to deploy Finacle, a core banking solution from the IT company.
Finacle, will be installed across PNB’s six regional rural banks (RRBs) covering 1,300 branches.
“This initiative will strengthen our RRBs and make them vibrant channels of financial service delivery for the rural sector,” said R I S Sidhu, chief general manager, PNB.
Finacle will enable RRBs better manage audit process, adhere to statutory compliance, enhance internal MIS requirements and offer customers competititve services at par with commercial banks.
