CM Achuthanandan to inaugurate on Oct 10

State chief minister VS Achuthanandan will inaugurate Koratty Infopark, the first spoke model under Kochi Infopark, on October 10.

Thirteen companies have been allotted space (40,000 sft) at the park under Phase I, which was launched in January this year. These companies would employ about 500 professionals and include Bluelabs Technology Solutions, Braddock Infotech, Cent Technologies, Infoprism Solutions, Advaya Infotech, Scienetic Technologies and Mulberry Technologies among others.

The park is 45 km from Kochi and 14 km from the Cochin International Airport at Nedumbassery.

“We have incorporated the green building concept in the design to blend with the existing architecture and thus strive to provide a beautiful and inspiring atmosphere for a successful professional life,” said Siddhartha Bhattacharya, CEO, Infoparks.

He said due to heavy demand for space, the development work on the second phase had been advanced from 2010 to October 2009.

“We also plan to offer developed plots on lease in the second phase. The third phase of the park will also be thrown open to private builders in the state. When completed, the park will have a direct employment potential of about 6,000 IT professionals,” he added.

The park to be developed on 30 acres, will have IT buildings of approximately 70,000 sft area with plug and play facilities at the end of the second phase.
