In this day and age, few have the time to go out and dine, let alone cook for themselves. To those people, food ordering apps are godsend. Apps like Zomato, Foodpanda et al, have made our lives easier.

TinyOwl is one such app. The app is location-based, so it displays the food joints nearby. The user interface is basic and straightforward. You can look up restaurants and filter them according to their popularity.

I used it to order a plate of Hyderabadi Biryani. It took less than five minutes to place the order and pay online. The app then processed the order to the restaurant to confirm it, which took another five minutes. TinyOwl displayed the estimated time of arrival and I was pleased when the order reached before time.

TinyOwl has one feature to differentiate it from the rest. Apart from the restaurant finder, it has the option to choose "dishes". The app will display a certain number of popular and signature dishes based on your location. This saves you from going through the exhaustive restaurant menus. The app accepts all modes of payment, including their wallet which can be recharged.
