Tata Tele to expand data services to nine more towns

Tata Teleservices Limited is planning to expand its Tata Photon Plus mobile broadband service to nine more towns in Orissa by the end of the year. The major towns among them include Balasore, Puri, Berhampur, and Jajpur.Presently the broadband services are available in eleven towns of the state. These are Rourkela,Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Angul, Dhenkanal, Jeypur, Raygada, Bargarh and Belpahad

TTL also announced the unification of its Tata Indicom service with Tata Docomo brand. From tomorrow, Tata Indicom, which was a CDMA service, will subsume under Tata Docomo’s CDMA service.The CDMA, GSM, 3G (Third Generation) and Photon platforms of TTL is now merged under one brand that is Tata DoCoMo retaining the characteristics of all the platforms and the customers can expect same level services from the new brand, said Mahesh Thampi, TTL, Regional Head(east) while unveiling the logo of the new Tata DoCoMo brand here.
