Mobile operator Uninor is planning to increase its coverage in Andhra Pradesh by adding 100 new cell sites to the existing 2,600 during the current year, according to its managing director Sigve Brekke.

“Since launch, Uninor has remained among the top three GSM operators in the state. It is one of the best-performing circles for Uninor in terms of revenues. We are bullish on Andhra Pradesh and will continue to invest and expand operations here,” he told mediapersons here on Monday.

During the January-June period, Uninor has seen 1.2 million net additions, taking the total subscriber base to three million in Andhra Pradesh.
