| The company has tied up with China-based Unitek Computers Company to manufacture computer cases, switch mode power system (SMPS), multi-media chips, peripherals such as keyboard, mouse, CD ROM drives, speakers, home theatres. |
| Xenitis has built a strong distribution network in the state, with two centres in Ahmedabad, two in Surat, and one each in Vadodara and Vapi. |
| When asked about survival in a market where many big multinational players like LG, HP, HCL are fighting for market share, Santanu Ghosh, director of Xenitis Infotech said from Kolkata: "Xenitis is selling PC units at a very competitive price of Rs 9,900 with a 56.6 kbps internal modem. The company is providing a strong after sales servicing, in which we can score over rivals." |
| "We are promoting our personal computers with a regional tag like Amar PC in Bengal and Amchi PC in Gujarat and Maharashtra to penetrate into the regional market as people can recall the brand instantly," said Sushovan Das, general manager of Xenitis, Maharashtra. |
| The company customers' base covers home, corporate houses, cyber cafes and hotels, Das added. |
| The company is setting up a factory at Hoogly district in West Bengal to manufacture computer products and components. The factory will be first state-of-the-art manufacturing unit, which is going to create the employment opportunity for at least 2,000 people. |
