IT entrepreneurs wish list from Budget

Nasscom wants the Union govt to create a mission with initial seed capital of Rs 500 cr to promote entrepreneurship

National Assocation of Software and Services Companies (Nasscom) vice chairman and executive chairman of Cyient Limited, BVR Mohan Reddy, wants the Union government to create a mission with initial seed capital of Rs 500 crore to promote entrepreneurship.

He stated his expectations from the 2014 Union Budget included creation of infrastructure and provision of incentives to the IT sector for moving to Tier II and III cities.

President of Hyderabad Software Exporters Association (Hysea) and managing director of Progress Software, Ramesh Loganathan, sought clear stipulations on transfer pricing, removing any ambiguities on how it must be computed and reduction in pricing.

CEO of Netxcell Limited, Debasis Chatterji, wants to see some control on inflation and a reasonable growth in the economy. He also wants the government to create a conducive atmosphere to invest in the telecom sector as "4G/3G implementation requires lost of investment in telecom infrastructure."
