National Research Development Corporation (NRDC), which comes under the Ministry of Science & Technology, has entered into a memorandum of agreement (MoA) with the Centre for Nano and Material Sciences, (CNMS) of Jain University, Karnataka for commercialisation of technologies and intellectual properties developed at CNMS. NRDC will also provide its services in IP evaluation and valuation in terms of their commercial potential to CNMS.
MoA for IP protection and technology commercialisation was signed by Dr H Purushotham, chairman and managing director, NRDC and Dr Geetha Balakrishna, director CNMS, Jain University on June 10, 2016. The MoA is valid for a period of 10 years from May 2016.
