As a part of business expansion plan and growth strategy, the logistics park in Haryana will help Allcargo to target the growing container traffic in the northern parts of the country, which would be boosted by dedicated freight corridor connectivity. “The Jhajjar project will highlight the company's expertise to handle break bulk cargo along with containerised cargo and operations related to contract logistics. The facility will also provide domestic tariff area (DTA) warehousing facility for consolidation of cargo as well as distribution solutions. This activity will complement the company's CFS business,” said Allcargo in a press release.
The proposed logistic park, which is expected to be operational by 2018, will be set up on approximately 200 acres of land.
