KEC International bags orders worth Rs 246 cr

KEC International, an RPG Group company and an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) firm, has won orders worth Rs 246 crore under its transmission & distribution (T&D) and cables businesses. Under the T&D business, the company has secured orders worth Rs 179 crore in India, the Americas, the Philippines and Ghana.
 
Of the total Rs 179 crore, KEC has won Rs 121 crore contract from Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Ltd for supply, erection and civil works, and a Rs 20 crore order from Americas. The T&D win also included Rs 38 crore orders from India, the Philippines and Ghana.
 
The cables business of KEC has secured orders for the supply of power and telecom cables worth Rs 67 crore.
