Hardik Pandya was on fire as he took two quick wickets in the 17th over of the match. He first dismissed Bernard Scholtz with a slower off-cutter, lofting the ball straight to Axar Patel at long-on for an easy catch.

Pandya then took another wicket with a perfect LBW delivery to Ben Shikongo, who had no answer to a full-length delivery that cut back in, leaving him plumb in front. Shikongo reviewed but the decision stood with three reds. Pandya then came close to a hat-trick, but Max Heingo and Zane Green survived the final deliveries, leaving Namibia 116/9.

Shivam Dube bowled a series of slower deliveries to Ruben Trumpelmann and Zane Green, mixing in no-balls and wide calls. Trumpelmann struggled to time the ball, swinging too early at several slower balls, including a back-of-the-hand delivery that missed the LBW review after hitting his thigh.

A free-hit was granted after Dube overstepped, but Trumpelmann's mistimed pull went for just a single to long-on. Zane Green managed a single off a full delivery, but Trumpelmann continued to find difficulty, failing to connect with several balls, including another mistimed shot that went straight back to Dube. The pressure was mounting.

Bumrah then bowls a slower off-cutter to Green, who defends it well back to the bowler. The next ball is fired full at Trumpelmann’s pads, but he flicks and misses, getting rapped on the pads. However, the umpire signals it as sliding down the leg. Trumpelmann takes a single off the last ball to long-on.

Malan Kruger faces the next ball, flicking it to mid-wicket but straight to the fielder. He then takes a single to third man off the final ball.

The over began with a wide, followed by a powerful four over mid-on from Steenkamp. A well-timed cut brought another boundary to deep point. Steenkamp then unleashed a six over short third and continued to dominate with a pull shot.
