India vs England 2nd Test Day 1 Live Updates: Here's how the third session went

 

India started the third session with the score at 225/3 and Rajat Patidar and Yashasvi Jaiswal at the crease. While Patidar got played down off the bowling of Rehna Ahmed, Jaiswal continued to notch up runs and brought up his second 150-plus score in Tests. The dup added 70 for the fourth wicket. 

 

Axar Patel joined Jaiswal and added another 52 for the fifth wicket before holing out to Rehan at backward point off the bowling of Shoab Bashir. Kona Bharat then partnered Jaiswal and the duo added 29 before Bharat was caught at point. Pl;ayed continued past 90 overs and Ashwin joined Jaiswal and took India to the end of the day's play with the score at 336/6 in 93 overs. 

 

A total of 111 runs were added in the last session where 30 overs were bowled. India lost three wickets as well.
