India thumped the Netherlands by 161 runs on Sunday, November 12 in match 45 of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Chasing 411 was never going to be easy, even though India tried their best by bowling part-timers. However, in the end, they were bowled out for 250. Teja Nidamanuru top-scored with 54 off 39 balls. For India, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj, Kuldeep Yadav and Ravindra Jadeja picked two wickets each. 

 

Earlier, India posted a mammoth 410/4 at the end of 50 overs, thanks to centuries from KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer. 

 

Rohit Sharma won the toss and decided to bat first against the Netherlands.  India and the Netherlands went in with the same playing 11, making no changes from the teams that played in their respective last games against South Africa and England.
