Stock Market LIVE Updates: Pharma company Lupin has received tentative approval from the United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) for its Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) for Siponimod Tablets, 0.25 mg, 1 mg and 2 mg.

This product would be manufactured at Lupin's Pithampur facility in India.

Siponimod Tablets are bioequivalent to Mayzent Tablets of Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation, and are indicated for the treatment of relapsing forms of multiple

sclerosis (MS).

Siponimod Tablets (RLD Mayzent) had estimated annual sales of $195 million in the US (IQVIA MAT October 2025).

Lupin will be responsible for manufacturing and supply of the product and will receive an upfront license fee and a royalty payment on net sales.

The proposed transaction involves acquisition of 100 per cent stake of the target companies at an aggregate Enterprise Value of 159 million euros (approximately ₹1,670 crore)
