COVID-19: Potters facing hardship in Varanasi amid lockdown

Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh), May 13 (ANI): Potters are facing problem in Uttar Pradesh's Varanasi amid coronavirus pandemic. COVID-19 outbreak and lockdown has affected their means of livelihood badly in past 1.5 months. Families of potters are going through difficult phase in their lives as the sale of pottery items have completely declined. There are total 3573 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Uttar Pradesh. According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the total number of COVID-19 active cases rose to 46,008 with 2293 deaths in India.
