Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala), Feb 26 (ANI): A visually impaired student from Thiruvananthapuram will write his exam with the help of computer. Haroon Kareem, a student of Class 10, will become first to write exams using the computer in Kerala. The Speaker of Kerala Legislative Assembly, P Sreeramakrishnan assured Kareem that he will write the exams in the way he wants. Speaking to ANI, Kareem said, "Since last 2 years I have done all my class activities using my computer. Advantage of using computer is that we can directly interact with our teachers. If we take notes in Braille script it is challenging to interact with normal people or teachers. But if I am doing it on computer, it is understandable for everyone." Similar facility has been given to visually impaired students in other the states, but the move has been taken by Kerala for the first time.
