Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Saturday unveiled the Viksit Madhya Pradesh@2047' vision document, which he called a roadmap to make MP developed and self-reliant, on the occasion of the state's 70th foundation day. We are not only celebrating the state's achievements on foundation day, but also marking the beginning of the next 25 years of progress, he said at the Abhyudaya Madhya Pradesh' function at Ravindra Bhavan here. For the last two years, the foundation has been laid for a developed and self-reliant Madhya Pradesh, he said, adding that the state has made remarkable achievements in industrial growth, job creation, investment promotion, and infrastructure building. This pace will make MP one of the leading industrial centres of India, he said. According to a government release, Yadav said the vision document has been developed through public participation. He said it is a roadmap for a strong, self-reliant, and developed Madhya Pradesh over the next two decades.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has said the subsidy given to farmers for installing solar-powered pumps will be raised to 90 per cent from the present 40 per cent. Addressing a farmers' thanksgiving event linked to the 'Bhavantar' scheme for soybean growers on Saturday, Yadav urged cultivators to adopt solar energy to free themselves from the costs of temporary power connections. Due to the toils put in by the farmers, the agriculture sector's contribution to the state's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) was more than 39 per cent, he said. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Friday said the monthly financial aid under the Ladli Behna Yojana will be hiked from the current Rs 1250 to Rs 1500 after Diwali. He was addressing a function at Petlawad in tribal dominated Jhabua district during which he transferred more than Rs 1,541 crore into the bank accounts of 1.26 crore women beneficiaries of the scheme. "Beneficiaries will receive Rs 1,500 per month after Diwali under the scheme. Assistance will be raised to Rs 3,000 by 2028," Yadav said. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Sunday said 1.27 crore beneficiaries of the Ladli Behna Yojana will get Rs 250 in their bank accounts on August 7 as a Raksha Bandhan gift, which he described as a "small token of love from a brother". This amount is over and above the Rs 1250 beneficiaries of the state's flagship scheme get every month, he added while addressing a Raksha Bandhan celebration organised by women working at 'Best Lifestyle' company here. "Every woman of the state is my sister. It is my pride and my honour. The Madhya Pradesh government is fully committed to ensuring that no sister faces hardship," Yadav asserted. Nearly 1.27 crore women in Madhya Pradesh who are beneficiaries of the Ladli Behna scheme will receive Rs 250 as a Rakhi gift, and their monthly assistance will be hiked to Rs 1,500 from October, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has said. Currently, eligible women receive Rs 1,250 per month under the scheme. The Madhya Pradesh government on Saturday suspended seven engineers including two chief engineers of the Public Works Department for the faulty design of the new Rail Over Bridge in Aishbagh area of the city with an unusual 90-degree turn. "I took cognizance of the serious negligence in the construction of Aishbagh ROB and ordered an inquiry. On the basis of the inquiry report, action has been taken against eight PWD engineers," Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said on X late in the evening. Seven engineers including two chief engineers were suspended with immediate effect while a departmental inquiry will be conducted against a retired senior engineer, he added. After the vehicles in Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav's convoy stopped working as water-mixed fuel was filled in them, the Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL) on Saturday said "unusual heavy rainfall" caused water to enter fuel storage tanks at its petrol pump in Ratlam. It also said that samples of fuel from the petrol pump were collected and sent for testing in the wake of the incident. The incident occurred on June 26 around 10 pm at the Shakti Fuels petrol pump at Dosigaon in Ratlam. Soon after refuelling there, all vehicles in the CM's convoy broke down and they had to be pushed and parked on the side of the road, according to officials. After the breakdown, the administration arranged new vehicles from Indore and also sealed the petrol pump. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has announced Rs 250 as "shagun" (token amount given as blessing) on Raksha Bandhan to beneficiaries of the Ladli Behna Yojana in addition to the Rs 1,250 given as monthly instalment. Yadav made the announcement on Monday while addressing a function in Belkheda village, located 40 km from the Jabalpur district headquarters. While the Ladli Behna scheme provides Rs 1,250 per month to eligible women, an additional Rs 250 will be transferred next month as a "shagun" on the Raksha Bandhan festival, he said. The CM also transferred a collective sum of Rs 1,551.44 crore as the instalment for June into the bank accounts of 1.27 crore beneficiaries of the scheme.
