Delhi HC rectifies its order in Sunjay Kapur estate case, removing record of Mandhira Kapur's lawyer after Priya Kapur's plea; the court also asked Priya to list all assets

Priya Kapur, wife of late businessman Sanjay Kapur, on Wednesday informed the Delhi High Court that the two children from his former wife Karisma Kapoor had already received Rs 1,900 crore from the family trust and asked "what more do they want"? The children moved the high court seeking shares in the assets of the late businessman and questioned the authenticity of his will which they allege was forged by Priya to gain control over the assets. Priya's counsel, however, contesting the claims argued before Jyoti Singh, "Not as if people are left on streets." The counsel submitted though the will was not registered, it wasn't "invalid". The death of industrialist Sunjay Kapur has been found to be due to natural causes as per the UK authorities, amid allegations of a foulplay by his mother Rani Kapur. Kapur, the former Chairman of auto components major Sona BLW Precision Forgings (Sona Comstar), passed away due to left ventricular hypertrophy and ischemic heart disease, as per the coroner's report shared by office of his wife Priya Sachdev Kapur. Shareholders of auto components firm Sona BLW Precision Forgings Ltd have approved the appointment of Priya Sachdev Kapur as a non-executive director with requisite majority. The shareholders approved the appointment of Priya, wife of former chairman Sunjay Kapur, in the annual general meeting on July 25, Sona BLW Precision Forgings Ltd (Sona Comstar) said in a regulatory filing.
