Airgas acquires industrial gas distributor Valley Air Supply

The US-based industrial gas manufacturer Airgas Inc has acquired the assets and operations of Valley Air Supply Inc for an undisclosed amount. Headquartered in Alabama, Valley Air Supply is an industrial gas and welding supply distributor that generated more than $10 million in sales in calendar year 2014.
 
Valley Air Supply's four locations in Muscle Shoals (Alabama); Decatur (Alabama); Jasper (Alabama); and Jackson (Tennessee) and more than 30 associates joined Airgas effective late April 2015.

Valley Air Supply marks Airgas' third acquisition since the beginning of the company's 2016 fiscal year on April 1, 2015, totalling approximately $ 31 million in aggregate acquired revenue. Fiscal year to-date acquisitions also include Liberty Welding Supply based in Vancouver (Washington) and eKipro Rentals and Grupo Industrial Daymaga in Mexico.
