Lyka Labs sells formulation facilities at Tarapur for Rs 38 crore

Lyka Labs Ltd, one of the leading manufacturers of lyophilised products in India, has sold off its formulation manufacturing facilities located at Tarapur (Maharashtra) for Rs 38.61 crore. The company did not disclosed the buyer’s name.
 
Lyka Labs has informed BSE that the company have concluded agreement for sale of formulation manufacturing facilities located at MIDC, Tarapur Industrial Area, Boisar, Maharashtra for a consideration of Rs 38.61 crores.
 
The manufacturing plant at Tarapur has facilities for production of tablets (uncoated, film coated, enteric coated & sugar coated), capsules and dry syrups.
 
In addition to Tarapur, the company has a manufacturing site located at Ankleshwar, Gujarat, where it has facilities for production of capsules, external preparations, parentals and lyophilisations.
