Chandni Textiles to triple production of plastic moulded crates

Chandni Textiles Engineering Industries Ltd, one of the leading textile machinery manufacturers in India, plans to increase the manufacturing capacity of plastic moulded crates for fruits & vegetables by three times from its current capacity.

“The company is expanding its capacity to manufacture plastic moulded fruit & vegetable crates from the present average 750,000 crates per annum to average 2,250,000 crates per annum. For this, it has placed order for two injection moulding machines of 580 tonne capacity each and expects the delivery of the machines shortly,” said Chandni Textiles Engineering Industries Ltd in a BSE filing.

Chandni Textiles presently operates in three segments - textiles, plastics and engineering. In order to increase its turnover and profitability, the company has devised a strategy to focus on high-quality and high-margin products.
