The company belongs to the Yash Birla Group (YBG) of companies and was incorporated on 24th September 1941 by Mr. R.D. Birla under the name and style of M/s. Jamod Ginning Company Private Limited. It was renamed on 8th October 1998 as M/s Birla Agro Private Limited. Subsequently The company name was changed to Birla Cotsyn (India) Pvt. BIRLA COTSYN (INDIA) LTD.has informed BSE that the meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company is scheduled on 22/08/2019 inter alia to consider and approve The meeting of the Board of Directors (Suspended) called by the Resolution professional (RP) today i.e. on Thursday 8th August 2019 to consider and approve the Audited Financial Results for the quarter and year ended on 31st March 2019 was adjourned and will be reconvened on Thursday 22nd August 2019.
