The Sensex is at 80486.03, up 0.07%.Coal India Ltd has gained around 2.16% in last one month.Meanwhile, Nifty Energy index of which Coal India Ltd is a constituent, has increased around 2.65% in last one month and is currently quoting at 34830, up 0.66% on the day. The volume in the stock stood at 21.86 lakh shares today, compared to the daily average of 48.18 lakh shares in last one month.

 

The benchmark September futures contract for the stock is quoting at Rs 386.45, down 0.62% on the day. Coal India Ltd tumbled 24.33% in last one year as compared to a 4.42% slide in NIFTY and a 20.35% fall in the Nifty Energy index.

The PE of the stock is 14.07 based on TTM earnings ending June 25.
