

New Delhi, July 1 (ANI): On the National Doctors' Day, Head of Medicine Department, AIIMS, Dr Navneet Wig appealed for participation of citizens to fight COVID-19.  "Team India includes healthcare workers and citizens. Both have a responsibility towards managing COVID19," said Dr Wig.  "100 percent vaccination, clean masks and no mass gatherings can ensure a lower positivity rate. Healthcare workers take a lot of pressure; have to maintain work-life balance. We need to give those breaks and shifts; need to be away from work to re-energize themselves. They should look after themselves," he added.

On Sunday, the company announced its foray into plotted development with the launch of 'Treetopia', a premium 105-acre project in Pune.
The project, comprising 483 plots, will have an "estimated revenue potential around Rs 600 crore".
The project is located close to the upcoming Purandar International Airport.
The plot size ranges from 2,000-6,000 square feet. The company is targeting both end users and long-term investors.

Leading watch and jewellery maker Titan is "very bullish" for its watch business, which is expected to touch the USD 1 billion sales mark in the next two years, led by factors such as premiumisation, retail footprint expansion and growth of the international business division, a top company official said.
Titan recorded a compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) of about 16 per cent in the last four to five years, and it is focusing on the mid-premium analogue segment (Rs 10,000 to Rs 25,000), and the premium segment (Rs 25,000 to Rs 1 lakh) to drive growth, Titan Watch Division CEO Kuruvilla Markose told PTI.

Daily solar observations gathered for years at the century-old Kodaikanal Solar Observatory have led to a breakthrough understanding of how the Sun's magnetic activity varies across its latitudes -- a discovery that could deepen insights into the solar dynamo, impact space-weather forecasting, and even help climate models.
