Congress MLA Amitesh Shukla walks out of Assembly in Raipur

Raipur (Chhattisgarh), Oct 04 (ANI): Congress Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Chhattisgarh's Rajim Amitesh Shukla staged a walkout from the state Assembly in Raipur on October 03. He walked out from Chhattisgarh Assembly after he was not allowed time to speak on Mahatma Gandhi. A special session was organised in the Assembly to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. While speaking to ANI, MLA Amitesh Shukla said, "It's sad that I was not given time to speak. Coming from a family of freedom fighters, I wanted to say things and talk about Mahatma Gandhi but I was not given the opportunity. So, I walked out." Amitesh Shukla represents the Congress party from Rajim Assembly seat.
