CPI, RJD workers 'purify' Ambedkar's statue after Giriraj Singh garlands idol

Begusarai (Bihar), Feb 15 (ANI): Union Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party leader Giriraj Singh garlanded the statue of BR Ambedkar in Begusarai on February 14. Later on, the statue was washed by Communist Party of India (CPI) and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) workers. The workers claimed that purification was necessary for secularism. A CPI worker said, "Yesterday our MP came here, he talked about communal things. That's why we are doing purification for brotherhood.
