DMK holds protest against CAA in Tamil Nadu

Chennai/ Kanchipuram (Tamil Nadu), Dec 17 (ANI): Several workers and leaders of Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) held protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) in Chennai on December 17. DMK leaders Kanimozhi and Dayanidhi Maran along with party leaders joined the protest. They protested at Collectorate in Chennai. On the other side, DMK President MK Stalin also held protest against CAA in Tamil Nadu's Kanchipuram. The new citizenship law will give Indian citizenship to non-Muslim refugees who faced persecution in three neighbouring countries- Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan.
