Internet services shut in around 21 districts, will be restored as and when situation demands: UP DGP

Lucknow (UP), Dec 27 (ANI): While speaking to ANI in Lucknow on December 27, the Director General of Police (DGP) of Uttar Pradesh, OP Singh spoke on Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) protests. He said, "The law and order situation is absolutely under control, we continue to have strategic deployment of forces, Special Investigation Teams (SIT) have been formed to investigate cases.""We have suspended internet services in around 21-22 districts and they will be restored as and when situation demands,"he added.
