Kerala Floods: Indian Navy delivers relief material to stranded people in Kochi

Kochi (Kerala), Aug 18 (ANI): Rescue operations in Kerala's Kochi are underway due to the ongoing flood situation. As part of the rescue operations, the Indian Navy has delivered relief material. The Defence Ministry has released 1300 life jackets, 571 lifebuoys, 1000 raincoats, 1300 gumboots, 1200 ready-to-eat meal, 1500 food packets, 25 motorised boats and 9 non-motorised boats for the rescue operations and relief. The Chief Minister Office (CMO) of Kerala has informed that the death toll in Kerala due to floods has risen to 324.
