Varanasi, May 09 (ANI): The political fever reached its climax in the high voltage battleground of Varanasi constituency, after the BJP's PM Candidate Narendra Modi, accused the Election Commission (EC) of discrimination for barring him from holding rallies in his constituency. Varanasi goes to the polls on Monday, while the results are due on May 16. Modi launched a sneaking attack on the EC accusing them of being biased. The independent monitoring agency is widely credited for ensuring free and fair elections in India, in which 815 million voters have been called to the polls over five weeks. On Thursday, BJP leaders wearing orange caps emblazoned with "Modi for PM" logos held protests both in Varanasi and the capital New Delhi, alleging that the agency was blocking Modi from campaigning in Varanasi.
