Port Louis, March 11 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday met his Mauritian counterpart, Sir Anerood Jugnauth and discussed ways to further deepen strategic partnership between India and Mauritius. Earlier in the day, PM Modi was accorded the ceremonial guard of honour upon his arrival at Port Louis in Mauritius. A group named 'Hindu Shakti Sena' welcomed PM Modi in Port Louis. Prime Minister Modi, who is on a two-day visit to the island nation, will be the Chief Guest at the Independence Day celebrations in the nation on March 12. The Prime Minister will also address the National Assembly of the country. He will also participate in the joint commissioning of Indian-built Offshore Patrol Vessel Barracuda, and in the beginning of construction works for the building of World Hindi Secretariat.
