West Bengal/ Maharashtra/ Tamil Nadu/ Uttar Pradesh / Gujarat/ Bihar/ New Delhi, May 13 (ANI): As the election marathon came to a closure on Monday, many political parties in India shrugged off exit polls prediction of a thumping majority for BJP's PM candidate, Narendra Modi, the front runner for the country's top post. NCP, an ally of the ruling Congress, indicated an important role for the regional parties in the formation of the upcoming central government. TMC leader Mukul Roy predicted a clear sweep for the state ruling party in West Bengal. Meanwhile, BJP spokesperson Prakash Javadekar, was confident of a clear majority in Andhra Pradesh. BJP entered into an alliance with regional Telegu Desam Party (TDP) in the southern state just ahead of the polls.
