Amethi/ Dehradun/ Asansol, May 7 (ANI): Indian voters cast their ballot on Wednesday to decide the fate of Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi, as voting began in his family in the 8th phase of 2014 polls. Along with Amethi, polling began in 64 constituencies spread across seven states amid tight security arrangements. Uttar Pradesh is witnessing the high-decibel fights between Gandhi, BJP candidate Smriti Irani and AAP's Kumar Vishwas in this phase where 95 million voters will decide the electoral fortunes of 897 candidates. On Wednesday, crowd of voters queued up at polling booths in Amethi as they pinned hopes on these elections for a better nation.
