This Karnataka govt school sells jasmine to hire teachers

Mangaluru (Karnataka), July 04 (ANI): A government school in Karnataka's Mangaluru took a unique step to raise funds. This lower primary school is situated in Ojala village of Bantwal city. They grew jasmine to raise funds for guest teachers at the school as there are only two permanent teachers in the school. They started planting jasmine around 2013-2014 and sell them to get money to hire teachers. While speaking to ANI on the step, Headmistress of the school said, "We started planting jasmine in 2013. We sell them to raise funds for the two guest teachers at the school."
