Water crisis: People protest near Chennai by blocking roads

Chennai, Jun 06 (ANI): Residents of Royapuram near Chennai protested against the water crisis in the area. Furious over intense water crisis, residents blocked the road with empty pots in hands. The protest hampered the vehicular transportation which was later cleared by the police. Parts of India including Tamil Nadu are reeling due to intense heatwave this summer.
