Madhes gripped in wave of protests

Birgunj, Nepal, April 19 (ANI): A wave of torch processions and rallies has been launched by the disgruntled Madhesi Morcha across the Madhes region against the local body elections which are slated 14th of next month.Leaders have also threatened to intensify the protests in coming days if the government still remains insensitive to their demands.
