Tokyo (Japan) May 10 (ANI): Many companies in Japan are concerned over the large exodus of skilled workers. And pressing issue for the construction industry is how to find labor while raising productivity. Shimizu Corporation, the major Japanese construction company invited local and foreign media to a press tour at its robot laboratory in Tokyo where they showed several robots designed for construction sites that can weld, bolt and carry to improving working productivity and safety for workers. Shimizu Corporation commenced development of Shimizu Smart Site, a next generation production system in which robots and humans will collaborate to move construction projects forward.
