PM Modi meets Japanese counterpart Shinzo Abe

Kuala Lumpur, Nov 21 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday met his Japanese counterpart Shinzo Abe in Kuala Lumpur on the sidelines of the ASEAN summit. The Prime Minister arrived here at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport at around 4:15 am and he was received warmly by the High Commissioner of India to Malaysia T.S. Tirumurti. During his four day two-nation trip, the Prime minister will also visit Singapore during which a number of important agreements are likely to be signed. Prime Minister Modi has said that his visits to both countries are focused to make the economic ties stronger and also to strengthen the security cooperation. The Prime Minister will address the East Asia Summit on Sunday.
