PM Narendra Modi departs for Ashgabat

Ufa, July 10 (ANI): After completing his successful visit to Russia, Prime Minister Narendra Modi departed for Ashgabat the capital and the largest city of Turkmenistan in Central Asia. Earlier in the day PM Modi met his Pakistani counterpart, Nawaz Sharif for a bilateral meeting in Ufa city of Russsia. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the SCO Summit, raising hopes of a thaw in frosty ties between the South Asian rivals. The two leaders shook hands amicably and gave a positive sign that the tensions facing the two nation's borders may get resolved after discussions. PM Modi is on an eight-day tour to five Central Asian countries and to Ufa in Russia.
